The Caves of Steel
Good, though not as good as I, Robot. There are pros and cons to having one investigation instead of several. It was cool to get into more character detail here, but the story felt a bit drawn out compared with the variety in I, Robot.
More character detail isn’t always a good thing, though. Jessie, also called Jezebel, was annoying, and I didn’t find her especially interesting. Maybe she was there to help drive the plot, and I can see the purpose in that. Not every character needs to be loved, so I don’t necessarily see it as a fault in the writing. She was just an annoying character, and that stood out to me.
It also reminds me a lot of Westworld. I think we’re probably going to see these kinds of themes play out in reality at some point.
